Live Recording & Video

Live Audio and Video Recording

Kensington Sound also offers live recording sessions in a dedicated front-room performance space, located on the same floor as our recording studio. Designed to support both live performance and professional capture, this salon-style room allows artists to record performances in real time—either privately or with a small invited audience.

With capacity for up to 30 people when audience seating is included, the space comfortably accommodates small bands, solo artists, and ensembles, including performances centred around our 7' Schimmel grand piano. Because the space is directly connected to the Kensington Sound control room, live sessions can be captured using the same world-class equipment and engineering expertise as our traditional recording sessions—while preserving the sound quality, energy, focus, and authenticity of a live take.

The room also supports full live video recording, with a professional 7-camera OBS-based live video capture system, making it ideal for artists who want to document performances, create visual content, or record sessions intended for release.

This is live audio and video recording without the disconnect—performance and production happening together, in one place.
